Multi-Family Housing Programs

Affordable Housing Fund

The Multi-Family / Affordable Housing Fund  (AHF) engages development partners in the production and preservation of rental housing in areas of the State with unmet need to repair or replace housing damaged by Superstorm Sandy, Hurricane Irene, and Tropical Storm Lee. This funding is combined with other State affordable housing funds to be applied towards the acquisition, rehabilitation, reconstruction and/or new construction of affordable multi-family rental housing. All projects must demonstrate a clear connection to one of the Covered Storms, as described in the priorities for this RFP. Funds have been awarded through three RFPs released in 2014, 2016, and 2018.
